MCM 1: Education & Outreach

Connecting the public (citizens, businesses, organizations) to proper stormwater education is one of the major goals of the County’s stormwater management plan. We are the administer of the small MS4 permit for all of Lucas County, along with our 11 co-permittees – the townships of Providence, Monclova, Jerusalem, Springfield, Spencer, Richfield, Swanton, Harding, Sylvania, Washington and Waterville, the City of Waterville and Villages of Holland and Whitehouse. Along with our co-permittees and local partners, Lucas County strives to educate the public on the importance of water quality, stream health and reducing pollutants into local streams.
