Project Summary

The Lucas County Engineer's Office is proposing the following safety improvements to McCord Road approximately 600 feet south of Central Avenue to Woodlake Drive in Sylvania Township.
The scope of the work for the McCord Road at Central Avenue U-Turn Project will construct a raised concrete median on McCord Road south of Central Ave and a U-turn lane with a bump-out pavement. Work will also include milling the existing pavement, placing a single course asphalt overlay, adjusting manholes, connecting sidewalk gaps, placement of pavement markings and RPM’s, and other related work. North of Central Ave, a bump out for the existing U-turn lane will also be constructed at Woodlake Dr. Construction of this project is partially funded with Federal Safety Funds received through the Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) and the Ohio Public Works Commission. |
