6/12/26 UPDATE
Lucas County Engineer Mike Pniewski provides an update on the utility relocation delays that are preventing the start of this project |
Project Summary
The Lucas County Engineer’s Office proposes the construction of a modern roundabout at the intersection of Monclova Road and Albon Road in Monclova Township.
The scope of work includes pavement reconstruction and widening, drainage improvements, earthwork and swale grading, utility adjustments, concrete pavement and curbing, sidewalk, curb ramps, traffic signing, pavement markings, erosion control, landscaping, lighting, maintenance of traffic and other related work.
This project was tentatively scheduled to begin in April 2026 for 45 days, weather permitting. It has been delayed multiple times now because utilities did not relocate their facilities in a timely fashion. It is now scheduled to begin on June 22.
